About the event
Genomics at Scale (GenScale) is an annual one-day conference organized by PhD students from the Wellcome Sanger Institute and European Bioinformatics Institute (EBI), aiming to spark discussion and create a platform for sharing novel and important ideas in multi-omics.
Our conference is targeted at graduate students, as well as early-career researchers, industrial partners, and the public involved in the broad area of multi-omics-related research. We aim to bring together researchers with diverse backgrounds and genomics expertise.
Join us at St John's College, Cambridge, UK on Friday 23rd October.
How can multi-omics approaches, along with machine learning and artificial intelligence, change our understanding of complex diseases?
For years, the massive generation of genomic data has provided valuable insights into how the genome and various conditions and diseases work. The application of multi-omics can now be combined with sophisticated computational tools to generate data-driven strategies in healthcare and translational medicine.
GenScale will provide a platform for talks on the convergence of multi-omic research and the implementation of artificial intelligence in genomic research and medicine:
Multi-omics approaches to understand complex diseases
Application of integrated multi-omics to investigate complex biological systems and address key challenges in cancer and immune research.
